An especially desirable residential location, Helmshore is a lovely village with a small selection of shops, pubs, and well regarded schools. The prominent "Tor" hillside provides a striking backdrop and much of the housing in the area benifits from these hillside views. A good bus route, the M66 and M65 motorway links are very close. Haslingden is just a short distance away and Holcombe Village is approximately four miles away.
Shops A small selection of shops and village shops, etc. Farmers market held every 2nd Sunday of the month. A fabric mill shop, and furniture/home stores are located on Holcombe Road.
