Haslingden is also one of Rossendale's main towns with shops, banks, supermarkets, pubs/restaurants etc. A traditional market is held each week. Good bus routes and both the M65 and M66 motorway links come into the town. A good selection of primary schools and a well regarded secondary school are all located centrally. Grane Valley provides breathtaking rural views over Clough Head reservoir and is ideal for country walks etc.
